Oh, what a JIFF!

Thank you so much – for your support and enthusiasm in making this year’s JIFF our biggest and most successful yet. We’ve loved seeing you in the foyers between back-to-back sessions, and hearing you chat about your favourite films with friends and family. Your support – by email, word-of-mouth and attendance, means the world to us – and we’re so excited to knuckle down and begin the programming process for JIFF 2018. Congratulations to the winners of the JIFF 2017 Audience Awards: Hungarian drama, 1945, and Danny Ben-Moshe’s personal documentary, My Mother’s Lost Children, and thanks to you – our loyal audience – for your considered feedback.

Entries are now open for our Short Film Fund – submit your idea for a Jewish-themed short for your chance to win a share of $10,000 in funding.

Assuage your post-JIFF blues by catching up on the best of JIFFs past on JIFF Video on Demand (VOD), home to award-winning titles, Gett: the Trial of Viviane Amsalem, Zero Motivation, Censored Voices, and Felix and Meira, amongst others.
