A sparkling tribute to Tommy Tycho, a Holocaust survivor from Budapest who became Australia’s preeminent musical director from the 1950s to the 2000s, and whose arrangement of our national anthem is still the official version used today.
Join TYCHO! Beyond the Baton director, writer and producer, Stephan Wellink, executive producers Vicky Tycho and David Matchett, and musician and the world's leading authority on the music of Tommy Tycho, Dr Samuel Cottell for a post-film Q&A.
In Sydney, we are also lucky to be joined by classical pianist and writer, Simon Tedeschi; violin soloist, Maria Lindsay; singer, dancer, recording artist and mentee of Tommy Tycho, Jackie Love; classical and world music flautist, Jane Rutter; and director of photography, editor and producer of the film, Bob Fitzgerald.
