A coming-of-age story about a young man caught between familial expectations and his love of baseball.
Set in a Jewish Syrian community in 1960’s Brooklyn, David, the youngest of four children, struggles with his parents’ traditional lifestyle and beliefs. He finds solace playing baseball, and, despite his father’s objections, he excels in the sport. After suffering a tragic loss, David pursues baseball as his only escape. A tender and moving drama about childhood and family.
