It's 1985. Vincent, on the precipice of his bar mitzvah, lives in the suburbs of Paris with his middle-class Jewish family, caught between an older brother who brushes him off and parents who never stop arguing. No longer a kid but not yet an adult, Vincent fumbles through life's big questions about identity, friendship and first crushes, and tries to find his own rhythm in a family that is out of sync.
